The hungover fridays club

 

 

 

Happy Christmas jumper day! As you can see I didn't quite meet with the title because I don't actually own any Christmas jumpers so I went with a sparkly, festive-looking jumper instead. It was also quite a suitable outfit for going out for a cosy pub lunch with my parents and a load of their work friends, which I was hoping would cure my disgusting hangover. They all really went to town on the Christmas jumpers though so I was kindof letting the team down. Instead, I wore this silver thread jumper which I got from H&M 2 years ago for only £15! And because it was so cheap, in typical jenni style, I got it in two other colours aswell. I wore it with my pastel plaid skirt (new look) because it's really wintery and cosy and I was going for an all-over muted colour palette. I obviously added black tights and black chunky shoes (new look, £24.99) and then wore my grey fur coat which was £64.99 from new look - well I've had a day off from wearing it so I thought it was about time to put it back on again! I finished with a silver watch and silver earrings (also new look, I swear pretty much everything I wore today was from new look) and then No7 lipstick in Classic rose which is probably my favourite lipstick ever.

 

 

Today's dirty hangover was the result of a 2-4-1 drinks night last night (I go most Thursdays to be fair, I've probably mentioned it before) and it was weirdly empty in town. I'm guessing it's because next Thursday is the last one before Christmas, meaning everyone will be out then instead! For the night, I wore black leather shorts with my snake print shirt tucked in (both missguided) and then wore my new shoes which I'm really in love with. They were £29.99 from new look and I love the strappy design and the pointed toe. Although wearing them for the first time on a night out was not my best decision to date; my feet were so dead by the end of it! And I don't normally include club night photos but me and Lauren were rushing to get the last bus on time so I didn't have time to take an outfit photo (#ButFirstLetMeTakeASelfie).
