What a beautiful chocolate coat!

I feel like the characters that I most identify with are Rebecca Bloomwood (confessions of a shopaholic) and Carrie Bradshaw (sex and the city, obvs) because they put fashion above all else. Obviously Blair Waldorf is and always will be my total spirit animal but the fact that the other two are quite happy to get themselves in debt/homeless rather than go without buying new clothes proves that they're more me. For example, I currently have £11 to my name until payday tomorrow and yet I'm wearing a £95 coat in this OOTD. I just think that people who have savings must lead boring lives/have boring wardrobes. Under my beautiful chocolate coat (from river island), I went with a pretty simplistic ensemble (chocolate is a surprisingly hard colour to work). This white wrap blouse is my ultimate wardrobe staple I'd say because it's just really classic and chic and works for work aswell as casual and it literally goes with everything. It was only like £15 from new look too! I wore blue wash skinny jeans (topshop) turned up at the bottoms and then balanced my outfit with white lace up shoes (public desire) which I'll be very sad to temporarily say goodbye to once it gets too cold for open toe. I'm currently on the hunt for the ultimate brown lipstick (I think I've already told you) which is surprisingly hard because they're all either nude, reddish or purple-toned and I just want a really nice warm chocolate brown that isn't too dark. I will find it! Until then, I'm loving this brown lipstick which is slightly darker than what I was looking for but I fell in love with it all the same. Film Noir (MAC of course) is a really dark statement lipstick and makes me feel all vampy like I should be pouting all day or taking black and white photos.
