Knit ready for black tights yet

Okay so this isn't an entirely original blogpost but I (almost) always document my OOTD's and I particularly loved this one. You've seen most of this outfit before in my big haul but I figured you wouldn't mind me featuring it again. I think this new look dress is literally perfect for this time of year because despite the fact that it's now October, I still don't want to get the black tights out (how people wear them through summer and on nights out and everything is beyond me). Obviously it's too cold and autumnal to wear anything short or summery though; this dress is made of a fine knit fabric so it keeps you warm enough but not too warm and the roll neck is good for warmth as well as adding some detail and shape to an otherwise plain dress. It's also a great length, especially when worn with a longer duster coat like my favourite khaki missguided one. I continued with the khaki theme with these lace-up heeled boots which I am literally in love with. These public desire beauties were part of my big recent haul and despite the fact that they're open-toe and so I expected them to be uncomfy, they're actually really comfortable! I finished the look with my Marc Jacobs watch, a few statement rings (have a look at my instagram to see them up close) and a colour pop dark pink lip; I used a Ted Baker chubby stick for that.
