Dressed up denim

Who said that sundays were strictly pyjama days? Like Oscar Wilde once said, a woman can never be over-dressed or over-educated. So even on my casual days, I still think that heels are a must. I definitely have a love-hate relationship with these primark heels; they're so beautiful and they were only £10 so while they may not be bank-breaking they sometimes feel like they might be bone-breaking they're that painful. Well it is the things that we love that hurt us the most I guess. I think that a pointed court heel goes really nicely with jeans and they do a great job of adding a chic feminine edge to these boyfriend style ripped jeans. I had look for so long to find the perfect pair of ripped jeans. Not ripped too much or too little, not black but not too bright of a blue, not tight but not too big either. I finally found these in river island and fell in love. I don't get to wear them very often though because they're hardly office attire but today I opted to wear them with this missguided bodysuit. As you should know by now, I love all things lace-up and this is made of the nicest fabric and literally fits me perfectly.

Excuse the creepy close-up but I wanted you to be able to see the makeup properly. Sunday is normally a make-up free day for me because I'm normally hungover but seeing as I didn't go out last night (my bank account is massively thanking me for it), I thought I'd have some fun. My palette of choice today was my Naked 3 which I don't think I use enough because I don't wear a lot of pink. But today I wore Liar all over my lid, then blended Blackheart through my crease, round the outer corners and under my lower lashline and then finished by putting Darkside through my crease. I added lashes, mascara and then Whirl lipstick which I thought went nicely because it's got pink undertones without being so pink that it gave the look a barbie feel.
