OOTD: oriental lady

Well surprise surprise, yes I went out for lunch again today. I think I need a new hobby, something other than just eating. I decided to try something new though; wagamamas. I don't really eat Chinese or Japanese food very often but it was actually really nice; we had fried duck dumplings and chilli squid to start then chicken ramen as a main. The ramen actually looked exactly like the Chinese soup emoji (you blackberry users won't know what I'm talking about sorry). I went shopping too obviously but I'll show you what I bought in tomorrows blogpost. Because we went out for oriental food, I thought it was only right that I wore oriental print in the form of this gorgeous new look blazer which is actually half of a two-piece that's been featured on the blog before. It's meant to be more of a loose kimono style but they only had size 6 in stock so I got that and it actually fits perfectly, although it is more of a blazer style which I prefer. As we get further into Autumn and further away from summer, it's not longer acceptable to wear shorts or mini skirts with bare legs but we're not quite into black-tights-season yet so this skirt (primark £10) is the perfect piece to bridge the gap. It's floaty and feminine and makes me feel like twirling round singing songs from musicals. Only me? Okay moving on. I added a simple black cami which I tucked in (a good trick for making your waist look smaller) and then I added my shoe-of-the-moment; these strappy grey and black sandals from new look. I finished the look with a statement silver, grey and pink necklace (primark £6) which matched the grey in the shoes and complemented the burgundy in the jacket, and a berry lipstick. I used Maybelline Color sensational in 540 Hollywood red which smells lush and lasts all day.
