On your bike
Embarrassing confession time: I can't ride a bike. Well, I did learn, but it turns out that the saying is a lie and you actually can forget how to ride a bike (something I discovered in the busy, bike-filled streets of Amsterdam of all places). So these cycling shorts are purely ornamental - I won't be doing any bike riding in them. And because they have no practical use, it's a good job they work so well in outfits! This t-shirt dress was technically named a "longline tee" on the shein website so it's not really surprising that it's a bit too short to realistically be worn on its own. But if it were paired with trousers or jeans or something, I think it would just look baggy and ill-fitted rather than deliberately long so I think the cycling shorts are a perfect pairing! I love the warm pink colour and the bold print, and although this one has now sold out, I've offered you some similar ones that I also like below. I kept the whole thing very casual and finished the outfit with bee trainers.
