Too blessed to be stressed

I like to consider myself a lucky person. A while back I was gifted an Olivia Burton watch for 'random acts of kindness day', last week I won £90 on an Ascot horse that I picked at random and this week I was treated to a free tapas meal thanks to a facebook competition. Baresca is a restaurant I've loved for a long time and I like the fact that they change their menu regularly so that each time I go back, there's something new to try! This time, we did the menu del dia, which is great value at only like £12 (or free for me and Laura on this occasion). You get flatbreads and dips and then a choice of 2 tapas and a side each. We put everything in the middle to share it (much to the disapproval of Smithy I'm sure); we got lamb koftas, salmon tikka, Spanish tortilla, chickpea and cauliflower tagine, patatas bravas and quinoa salad. Everything was uh-mazing and I'd highly recommend the dishes we got! I would also recommend the sangrias we got (even though it wasn't exactly the weather or the location for it); mine was peach and raspberry and Laura's was apple and elderflower. For our little outing I went with a casual outfit (soz you can only see the top half); brown suede skirt, heart print blouse (which always reminds me of a pyjama top but in a good way) and layered gold necklace.
